I mean, come on! We all like to brag about our little angels, sure, and we're here to offer advice and opinions, but when I see a question, and all it's doing is stating what a brilliant choice this parents supposedly made for their children, which the rest of society should look up to and follow, I'm left wondering if these people are genuine!
Do you think they're really that clueless, or just making it all up?

Lol!!! I know what you mean, there are some very thinly disguised rants on here!
I think some people are just that insecure about themselves and their choices that they need to tell everyone else how right they are, some people are just fanatical over certain issues like breastfeeding, staying home vs working, and spanking that they have a field day on here, and others I think are just bored!
Kinda sad really.

Interesting Post/Question!!

I have just recently started visiting this section, so I'm not too "up" on which kinds of posts you're referring to, HOWEVER, I have definitely come into contact with these types of people in real life.

There's nothing I hate more than parents who try to pretend that they never make mistakes, their way is the right way or the only way, and that parenting is always a joyous breeze for them. Never any regrets about any choices they've made that effect their lives or their childrens lives and definitely no bumps in the road or levels of high stress- ever!

If you ask me, it's science fiction. There's no parent out there who has a perfect child, or who despite their best efforts, hasn't made a big mistake once or twice. And I'm sure that no matter how great they are at parenting or how well behaved and perfect their children are, they had to have had times where they felt stressed out or felt as though the task was too big to handle.

It's people like this, who don't do anyone any good. Parents should be honest and support one another, not create "tales" in order to make others think they are the standard to which they should uphold to.

Keep in mind that while raising children is essential for the continuation of mankind it is so often ignored with regards to achievements and appreciation by society as a whole. If a mom wants to toot her own horn then I say more power to her. She has years to go before those children will express their appreciation to her so what ever she can get now as positive reinforcement helps her to be a better parent. God bless Mom's everywhere!

I think most is made up to make themselves feel better, we have all had those days where we want to lock the child in the bedroom for the day because they are misbehaving.

I have got 4 well behaved children but i have had to put alot of time and effort into getting them to behave...and that's the point i think whether you work or not putting time and effort into your children gets the better results.

Shyt YES!!! I read some of the questions and think what are you worried about!!
Or worse you read those questions from sickos that are just plain irritating!!!

And I wonder why young people as young as 11 are asking if they are pregnant??? Or what to do.
That is SO frustrating!!

The people who brag may not have anyone to brag to?

I daresay some of the stuff is absolute crap and the other stuff is divided between self righteous big-noting and some genuine people who don't have a conscious to see how it is written. lol

I understand what you are saying but if you are asking/answering questions with this many people you have to expect it. Everyone has their own appreciation for others opinions.
