OK, the PROBLEM is, that the "standard" policy likely varies by state. If you're looking for ISO wording, you can't get that for free - you need to BUY it from ISO. MOST insurance companies will give you a "sample policy" of a particular company, if you ask - so go ask your agent if he'll give you a sample policy.

Also, you can BUY something like the CPCU Handbook of Insurance Policies from www.aicpcu.org.

But again, the sample policies do vary! "Standard" is in the eye of the beholder.

There are several general insurance companies such as New India, United India, Oriental Insurance and National all in nationalized sector. You may visit the office of any of the insurance companies and ask for the specimen forms of these policies explaining your purpose and you may get the same.

Contact your insurance agent and see if they can give you copies of your companies policies.

You may also want to try ISO. They also put out standard insurance policy forms. There could be differences in their policies and those in your state or those used by your company.
