Alright so when I was 6yrs old I killed my friends cat because I hated her and her cat. Then I got a puppy that I really geniunely loved and watched, crying as my dad started beating it.I screamed at him and punched at him but I was only 6yrs old. What could I do?We had to give the dog away. After that I started killing hamsters, cats, and guinea pigs until I was about 14yrs old.I'm older now and it still haunts me.I have to avoid my pets for fear of losing it on them. What should I do?

If you have to avoid things you love because you are afraid of destroying them, you are psychotic. You are not going to get professional help on this website, but you should talk to a professional. The fact that you killed for fun is disturbing. I'm surprised that you weren't caught and sent away. Ask mom and dad to get you a therapist after you tell them that you are a violent and malicious killer of inocent creatures for your own amusement. I'm glad it haunts you. Get some help.

You need to speak with a psychiatrist about your behaviour. Killing animals is a serious warning sign. You may think that you are over it, but the next time you are in a stressful situation you may attack a person. It seems that you have some very deeply entrenched rage issues.
It sounds like you grew up in a violent household and perhaps you learnd to kill animals from your one of parents (probably your father). I really hope you find the help that you need.

It's time to tell a counsoler or your doctor about this problem. You need to take an educated attitude towards this.

You brain is reaction chemically to a traumatic experince. It can be fixed with the help of a professional who understands the medical implications of stress.

Do NOT be embarassed and do NOT dely seeking attention. The longer you feel this way, the more you reinforce it.

Taking your frustrations out on innocent animals is not the way to deal with your anger or hatred of others. If you fear for the safety of your own animals, maybe going to see a counsellor and soon would be a good idea. Good Luck, I really wish you all the best. Hugs!

one of the first things that phsyciatrist evalute, when trying to brand a phsycopath, is animal abuse...you need to address this issue as soon as possible, as I believe you problems lie much deeper than what you are portraying..I think you were abused also,...and you are taking it out on little animals..now, you know it is wrong, so that is a good thing...get some help quick, you don't want to develop into something more sinister, as a result of abuse you had perpertrated on you.

Stay away from animals and don't get any pets. They're as helpless as children...you do the math.

First,,,,you should not be a pet owner.
Second,,,,you should be haunted by it.
Third,,,,let it go.Forgive yourself and move on.If you feel that you can't, then perhaps you could get some counseling.
