Why is it okay for people to get in fights and they dont go to jail (like in boxing and wrestling)
but why is it considered animal cruelty if you make two dogs fight eachother?
im not saying animal fighting is good. im just asking.

It's called aggravated assault and my son arrests lots of people for it. If the fight is a mutual desire its called disorderly conduct. Now if you're talking about boxing. Those men made a conscience effort to do it. No one made them. Boxing is rarely the cause of others losing an ear or getting puncture wounds unless they are fighting Mike Tyson. Plus when an injury occurs in the boxing ring it is stopped.

Dogs are manipulated into dog fighting, humans make the decision in fighting.
In wrestling/boxing you do not fight in hopes of death, you fight to just knock the other down.
Dogs are domesticated animals and require humane treatment in any circumstance.

Because dogs that fight like pitbuls are dangerous to the public and the poor dogs are forced to fight and boxing they wear saftey stuff and if they get hurt they get the medical attetntion but dogs they just get torn up and if they looose they just throw them out on the streets or kill them. or they will starve them use some as bait and keep them in horrible conditions the dogs are forced

animals only fight when they have to like when establishing dominance. they dont fight for the thrill of it. they just dont have the reasoning like humans do. that goes for all animals. it just isnt something that they have the mentality for.

Duh! The people fight because they want to,and they don't bite each other and fight to the death.The dogs are taught and forced to fight and are terribly injured and if they don't win,they are killed.It's cruel and there's no need for it.Sheesh!
