It may at times seem nobody appreciates your goodness, but it will be noticed and very much appreciated--but quietly.
None of us are perfect, of course, but many of us are good people who can be depended on by others.
God loves us, and so do many other people.

of course it is! it is worth it even if at times it goes against your own self-interest.
nice guys may finish last, but so what? in the end, you should not have a guilty conscience. i can't imagine being not nice to someone that i really cared for, even if that meant going into the friend zone.

You really should not have asked such question, you already should have known. Now let me ask YOU a question. Are you a good person or a bad person? You are good I'm sure and you have family and friends, so there is no problem, everyone around you loves you I'm sure, then why ask such a question.

"Good" is a crock of ****. Don't listen to idiots - In the real world, not a soul gives a damn about you or anyone else who does not directly affect them, nor should they. Just live a decent life, don't piss anyone off too bad, and do what YOU need to do to be happy. I scoff at goodness. Self serving actions are where it's at.

In a relationship, heck yes. Now if you screw up like my ex did to me, there will sure as hell be some payback. What do you want? To screw everything up? Or one angry ex? That should give you your answer.
