I can see why some people would consider this, and some people may feel because of their achievements it makes them more qualified, thus, possibly acting superior. After all, earning a PhD isn't a walk in the park.. just to have that title can earn a lot of authority and respect. Rarely do the majority question doctors' judgments, so it maybe easier to get on a "power trip"...

Because you are seeing the wrong Doctor. A doctor in an employee of yours, they do not employee you. If you have a doctor that acts like he or she is God tell he or she "Quick while you can still walk on water and see in the dark, do not waste your valuable time on me, run down to the Children's hospital and cure the small babies with HIV and AIDS"

Then go find a Doctor that realizes that he or she puts their pants on the same way you do, one leg at a time.

Some doctors do ride a little high on their achievement. But most doctors do not. Find a doctor you feel comfortable with.
