Put water in the pot
put pot on stove
turn on stove to HIGH heat
Wait and watch it boil then
"Place Frozen Vegetables in boiling water. Stir vegetables, bring back to boil means wait for the water to boil again.
Simmer means turn the heat way down so only tiny bubbles are thrashing through the water.
Drain means let the water run down the drain but keep the veggies in the pot.
Serve means put the veggies in small dishes for your guests.
I want some of what you took.

Sugapop is right so I'll try to put it in even more primal terms...sorry..no offense intended but I REALLY wanta help you. When the water starts to boil, you put in your veggies which will cause the temp to lower. You must let the water come back to a boil. When you see the water in a rolling boil, turn down the heat really low so as to steam the veggies for 3-4 minutes. Be sure to watch the time. If you don't have a clock, turn on the mike for 3-4 minutes. Hope this helps

Start with salted tap water.
Put in a pot and bring to a boil.
When boiling add your frozen veggies to pot.
The boiling will stop, do to the coldness of the veggies....always leave frozen for best taste.
Now when water boils again ....time for 3-4 minutes.
Tender means taste them and see if they are done sooner and need another 2 minutes.
Drain, add butter and enjoy.

Boil water - add veg - keep heat up high until it boils again, then turn down the heat so that water is just bubbling slowly and leave for about 3 - 4 minutes!

ONCE YOU PUT FROZEN VEG IN BOILING WATER IT COOLS DOWN. SO YOU NEED TO KEEP THE HEAT HIGH TILL IT BOILS AGAIN. ONCE IT IS BUBBLING TURN THE HEAT DOWN A BIT TILL IT IS JUST SLIGHTLY BUBBLING. THEN JUST LEAVE IT FOR A FEW MINS TO COOK. TEST THE VEG TO SEE IF IT IS COOKED ENOUGH FOR YOU. THE ONLY WAY TO DO THIS IS TO TASTE A BIT. YOU CAN COOK FROZEN VEG IN THE MICROWAVE JUST PUT IT IN A COVERED BOWL WITH A BIT OF BUTTER AND ZAP FOR A FEW MINS. ALOT QUICKER ANF THEY TASTE BETTER.

for cooking... you should put the hi-flame on... until the stuff starts boiling... once it starts boiling... bring the fire to lo-flame... that is called Simmer or 'Sim' as inscribed on the stove...
