garlic contains sulfur compounds that make the stink. Sulfur compounds are the residual smell after lighting off a bunch of firecrackers. The other aromatics in garlic enhance the taste.

Also, the reason that ice floats is that water is one of the few substances that actually expands when frozen. So for the same amount of water, the density is actually a little lower when frozen. For example, If you put a can of soda in the freezer, the can will bulge instead of shrink.

why do ice cubes float on water if there more dense then water...thats just the way it is
