How soon can I recolor my hair afer a bad dye job?

My boyfriends daughter, a professional, just gave me a terrible dye job. And I thought she liked me!!!! Light brown base with highlights, and it turned red, which is not my color. Help

Go get it repaired professionally, wait a couple weeks, if its so bad that you can't wait make sure you go and talk to them about it if box color was used make sure you mention that have them use their dye and you might have to get it bleached out I had to have that done with mine because I dyed it an orangy red and dark reds and did a bunch of stuff to it but it just wouldn't go away, reds can be a pain. So deffinitely go to a DIFFERENT professional! Hope it works out, it did with mine and I am very happy, it was worth the money!

Today's dyes aren't as harsh as they used to be. My hair dresser gave me a colour I didn't like and I re-dyed it the next day with an OTC dye. Just make sure you use a good conditioner for coloured hair or, as mentioned, a hot oil treatment.

you can redye it right after
its not going to make a big difference if you dont do it alot
ive done it and my hair isnt falling out
