Cheiko the only reason you managed to stay in power is through torture and burnings if you didn't believe. So basically, non-Christian in Europe 300 years ago=dead. You also forced it on other cultures. It is actually declining. In Europe, pretty much 99% were Christian. Now in France only about 60% are religious.

Well, religion as a whole is declining in the West.
Maybe some sort of New Age/pagan/Eastern type beliefs will become more popular here.
Christianity is growing fastest in third world environments like Africa, but is on a general decline in North America and Europe. Not very popular in Asia yet, but growing there.
I have heard Islam is also on the rise as well. I personally hope Christianity and Islam both decline over the next few decades.
Maybe we will see the rise of agnosticism and a more general spirituality?

it will not be called a cult. whatever it is it will be able to link all of humanity to the trancendent force that we all have in common. If we survive the fundementalists who will kill to prevent the new revalation. Christian and Muslim terrorists.
This thing here this computer breaks the old law. does not allow people in power to stop me from seing YOU as a human being. If you are a human being then you are my brother. NO tribes that is very scary to the world elite.
THAT feeling a feeling that makes the other sacred. It used to be used and allowed only for others in ones own tribe.Break down those walls and we will actually have peace.
This thought that religion is bad is wrong. Stale and old ones are useless. There will be another and humans will thrive in it untill it becomes useless and the new revelation is at hand.
Its been happening for 10,000 years because the human pyche is wired for religion.

You have been mistaken. In fact, in many non-Christian nations Christianity is on the rise despite of persecutions there. Read this brief article about Christianity in China.
"While the government claims that 16 million Chinese are Christian, it is estimated that between 40 million [1] to 100 million [2] Chinese are Christian (out of a population of at least 1.3 billion people). Christianity is also the fastest growing religion in China[citation needed]. The Christian population in China comprises Protestants, Catholics, and a very small number of Orthodox Christians."

Unfortunately "Father Feck" has a good point. If you don't have good values to aspire to, then the human race would turn to crap in an instant. Truly educated people know that with out these truths, we could no longer be called humans, only vicious animals. Unfortunately, some of us are already there.

Christianity was something people could believe in. Something for people to look up to. To help them cope.
People needed something, and before tv..ie football wrestling soaps silly game shows and the like, the bible was interesting and entertaining. I think people are growing out of there need for entertainment and comfort in the bible because they have so many other things to worship.
I personally think "organized religion is for weak minded people" and "Estabished church is a political machine and an enemy to human Liberty."

The next great cult will be the worship of the Anti Christ and the False Prophet. The Bible itself predicts this event and so it will occur.

Islam.
And to all of you saying that Christianity is not on a decline, you're wrong :) It's not that their numbers are decreasing. The rate of Christians are decreasing. Instead, the rate of Islam is increasing. ...if that makes sense.
