I wanted a tattoo every since I could remember.

I finally got my first at the ripe age of 44. This particular tattoo is not as intense or meaningful as some of my others, but I love it just the same.

I have been a Snoopy lover ever since I was a kid. My first tattoo is on my lower left ankle. It is Snoopy in a lounge chair, sitting with Woodstock and sipping some lemonade. It has a nice summer background. I chose this not just because I love Snoopy, but because chilling in the sun with a good friend is one of my favorite past times. I have no regrets and I would get it again if I had to.

A Kanji on my left ankle in just the black outline. Really difficult times in my family and the aniversary of my uncles death so it kind of concluded a really trying time in my life.

-H2Opolochick: My mom sings me that song to this day when I have a problem. I'm sorry you lost her and I hope that song brings back good memories for you that you can pass on to your kids as stories. Who knows, you could make that song a tradition in your family. Your tattoo sounds really pretty also.

It is the word Neuse on my right knee and looks like a scar. I got a cut in the shape of an ' N' on the same place the N in Neuse is while swimming in the neuse river when I was younger.

my very first one was a tribute to a man that I considered a great mentor in my life. It is of a Firebird (in reference to the opera "The Firebird Suite" by Stravinsky.) This gentleman introduced this particular piece of music to me, and was a great friend and advisor until he passed away after a vehicle accident. He taught me about being an adult, how to be responsible for my actions, and how to be a good loser as well as a gracious winner in life..as he did for many.

hi i got my first tattoo when i was 21. it's a devil with a halo. holding a pitchfork sitting on purple clouds. i got it for my nephew when he was 6 months old. he's almost 20 now, and boy did i hit the nail on the head with this tattoo. who knew he'd grow up to be such a little devil, with an angel's heart. i have it on my upper right arm, so when he was little he could see it, and then tell everyone he met HIS AUNT TIGER HAS A TATTOO JUST FOR HIM.

Got my first tattoo a couple of years ago after giving it a great deal of thought. I wanted something 'one of a kind' so I designed it myself to represent my family and a reminder to 'dream big' as my parents always believed you can do anything if you believed in yourself and your dream. :o )
