Vegetarianism can be a very healthy life choice, but not so much for a young person. You might want to check with your doctor or a registered dietitian about this before you do something that messes up your health, growth, or development.

Be warned that many people believe in vegetarianism so much that they think it is OK even for people of your age, but there are some real concerns that you should learn about from people who have actually researched it (as opposed to having read up on it or taken a class on it.)

I am not trying to talk you into or out of anything here- just urging caution.

You know exactly squat. The human body is designed to eat meat whether you like it or not. We are not cows. Google "dietary supplement's for vegetarians" because if you do this you are going to mess up your young developing body. At least figure out how to minimize the impact.

Good Luck.

By the way...it's o.k. to look at an animal and think like the wolf-YUM YUM YUMMY!

There is no way to do it. Although you can, with care, select vegetable products which will supply all of the essential amino acids, a vegetable diet will not contain vitamin B12, an essential nutrient which is found only in meat products.
