I got this idea from the Japanese film "After Life." The movie follows a group of people who had died and who are in a sort of "halfway house" between life on Earth and whatever follows. Each character has to choose a moment that he or she will relive forever, with all other memories being erased.

What would you choose?

Well, I need more information. :o)

When I relive the moment over and over, am I aware that it's being relived? Or does it feel like "the first time" over and over?

If I am aware that the same moment is being relived forever, then I figure the novelty would eventually wear off and it would end up agonizing me more than pleasuring me!

Furthermore, I don't know that I'd choose any one particular memory if all the others had to be erased. For instance, certain moments in my life could not have been appreciated or enjoyed to the extent that they were/are if other less enjoyable experiences had not also occurred, and those memories thus created.

However, for the sake of the question, I'll try to pick.

Let's see. Wow, this is hard!

You know what? I can't do it. My memories are worth more to me than the opportunity to re-experience one of them over and over in exchange for losing all of my other memories.

:o)

Sorry, I tried!

Rocking my babies. There's no memory of mine any more precious than the feel of a sleeping baby snuggled tightly against me, silky little head nestled under my chin. And that sweet baby smell, the cooing sounds, and the way their little mouths curl up, how their little fists clutch my fingers. Now that my kids are grown I relive this memory often. I want another baby.

I would choose the day I received the Holy Ghost ..Everything in my life would forever change, because, I knew that God loved me. And I had found that third part of me, that up to then, I wasn't sure existed,,,my spirit....Up to that day, I didn't believe in anything but mind and body.....nothing supernatural....But God is in a realm beyond the natural....what a revelation that was...and is...

sounds like a cool movie, im going go rent it. sad that they have to only choose one moment instead of living the rest of their lifes.

i guess id half to agree with that other guy, the moment i rolled a half foot joint and smoked it on a lawn chair in my front yard, good times.
