In some ways the basics remain the same and only get updated and elaborated upon. In the past they had more time, away from TV and the super programming we get from society, to look at life as see what it is. The spiritual is an over view, seeing the end from the beginning and the great masters often haven't been surpassed, although now we are getting to understand them through psychology, neuro-biology, noetic sciences and advances in every field. It's not even in the churches that all the understanding is taking place, but in science and spirituality. Like this video. The answer to the problem they present is still love, will we ever get it? "They have all gone their own way, each and every one."
