ok here's wut u do... try do get him hooked on somthing else that don't bother you like draming or somthing like reading. Like as soon as I picked up a book at the library and i was suddenly intreasted so get him a book like with bugs or school.

You don't mention your age.
I would suggest getting a method to lock your stuff away from him. Either put a keyed lock on your closet door, or put one on your bedroom door... and lock it! A good locking doorknob doesn't take much skill to install... it might cost $20.
You can turn your closet into a "safe" where you can stash all your important stuff... including snacks and your Nintendo.
Another possibility would be to buy a locking trunk to store your important things in.
In either case, wear the key on a chain around your neck.
It worked for me as a teenager living with a dope-fiend brother who would steal from me.

Haha what's sad is that I've actually used #1 and #3's methods, but not #2, the sensible one... I didn't THROW him in the basement, but I did tie him up. He was laughing.
