Can you be a Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer with Asthma?

When I turn 18 I want to join the coast guard, I might be a pilot or a rescue swimmer!!!

Most likely not as you could get in serious physical trouble in stressful situations - and have to be rescued yourself.

History of asthma after age 13 is disqualifying for enlistment or appointment in the armed forces. That includes the Coast
Guard.

i don't think you can if you have a history after a certian age
