God is not a religion. You can believe in God yet without a religion.

Buddhism is a way of life. A philosophy.

Buddhism is not a religion, it's an education. The Buddha never claimed divinity. I know Christians who practice Buddhism.

Buddhism isnt a religion no, its a philosophy HOWEVER, yes there is a god in buddhism but its hidden under layers of symbology, Take the lotus mandala for example, its an expression of unity in sacred geometry which equates to pantheistic infinite god much the same as hindhu mandalas and the jewish quabbalah. (its even made out of phi spirals and the christian cross is actually the phi ratio, symbols hide everything)

buddhism is an atheistic religion.. there is no God.. that's why some say it isn't a religion.. buddhism respects life in all forms and is about reaching peace and enlightenment.. however there is no God that is worshipped like other religions..

Buddhism is a philosophy of life.
A number of paganistic religions like Taoism blend buddhism into its religion. So while it looks like buddhism is a religion, it is in reality not.
Buddha is not a supreme being, just a prince by the name of Siddartha who attained enlightenment.

Oh, some layman Buddhists make it as such, though that was not what The Buddha would want.
I myself for the sake of simplicity sake sometime also call it my "religion" even though it's more a philosophy, a way of life.
As for God. It's up to each Buddhist to define Him/Her/Them.
Or to decide that s/he thinks God/s are non-existent.
In summary, Buddhism is a way to help you seek your own personal truth. Which is often very different from others truth.

There is no god in Buddhism. It doesn't make it any less of a religion though.

Some buddhists do not believe in god(s). Some credible sources say that the buddha himself did not believe in god(s) and that he discouraged people from thinking of him as such. He espoused a philosophy and way of life, not a religion.

It's human nature and human stupidity to make use of faith (christianity, islam, anything faith), ethnicity/race, political celebration as an excuse to mention they're awesome to others and kill someone who does not consider them. Because everyone knows that each one 6.five billion men and women on Earth must suppose EXACTLY ALIKE and must all consider within the identical faith, the identical politics, and must all be the distinct identical ethnicity/race- correct?
