All my colored washcloths have bleached out after I've used them only a couple of times. I use a benzoyl peroxide cleanser on my face, and thought perhaps this might be the culprit. The only thing I wash with my washcloth is my face, so it's not any of the other cleansers. Then again, my towels seem to bleach out in splotches, too. Any ideas what might be the problem, or ideas on how to NOT bleach out my colored towels?

It's not the laundry soap, because MY towels and washcloths are the only ones that it happens to. I can easily tell mine from my husbands, because his are still the original color, and mine are not

Yep. It's the benzoyl peroxide because that happened to me too. I switched to white washcloths to wash my face with for that very reason. And the reason there are white spots on your towels is because when you dry off your face after washing it, there are still little traces of the benzoyl left on your face, and they get on the towel.

1] you are getting a lot on the wash cloths, and not rinsing enough to get it alloff if your towels are bleaching out too.
2] buy a bundle of cheap washclothes at Sam's etc, and use them only for your face. Rinse twice as much, in the shower or splashing face twenty times at sink.
I have towels older than my son, and none of them have bleach spots [ he's 23 ].

it is the benzyol peroxide. there is nothing you can do about this, its just what benzoyl peroxide does to dyed thing,
my suggestion? but 1 or 2 un-dyed washclothes for just your face this will not only not lose color, but using a diffrent washcloth on your face reduces bacteria.
as for your other towles you dont use to wash your face, if you use a benzoyl peroxide cream, it can wash off onto them afer a shower, or residue from for facewash could be left.
hope i helped.
