It's fine- they're completely different medications. And the aspirin may give you some added benefit.

Yes, you can take both since you didn't take a full dose of Tylenol. Excedrin is aspirin and tylenol mixed with some caffeine added. So, it is acceptable to take the two meds together.

Tylenol (Brand Name) of base drug - Acetaminophen - is used to relieve many kinds of minor aches and pains—headaches, muscle aches, backaches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, arthritis, and the aches and pains that often accompany colds.
Aspirin is also used to relieve many kinds of minor aches and pains—headaches, toothaches, muscle pain, menstrual cramps, the joint pain from arthritis, and aches associated with colds and flu. Some people take aspirin daily to reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, or other heart problems.
Firstly,
Many drugs can interact with one another. Consult a physician or pharmacist before combining acetaminophen with any other medicine. Do not use acetaminophen-containing products with other medicines.
secondly,
If you are a lady avoid taking aspirin, as it dilutes blood and increases bleeding.
-Pregnant women. Aspirin can cause bleeding problems in both the mother and the developing fetus. Aspirin can also cause the infant's weight to be too low at birth.
- Women who are breastfeeding. Aspirin can pass into breast milk and may affect the baby.
- People with a history of bleeding problems.
- People who are taking blood-thinning drugs, such as warfarin (Coumadin).
- People with a history of ulcers.
- People with a history of asthma, nasal polyps, or both. These people are more likely to be allergic to aspirin..
Only TYLENOL will give you the required relief and do not combine it with aspirin-

APAP, aspirin and caffeine in combination are sold as Excedrin. Obviously, there's no major problem with drug interactions in most people.
