I know I am getting ahead with the going out thing, we've known of each other for at least 5 years... but we are from different worlds!

Hes what you would call a jock.. football player but hes a nice guy... doesnt do drugs, gets decent grades... he has only had one girlfriend, showing his seriousness in a relationship...

i dont know what it will take for him to notice me, but i want him to...

this is the first and last class i will have with him, as we are seniors in high school...

sometimes we say hi to one another, mostly not.

he probably wont keep it up if i dont do anything or try to talk..

its hard i dont know what to say... we are so different... i feel too grown up for him, i take college classes and all APs, work... its not being"good" or "bad" its the connection...

i feel something that can happen.. but its just a feeling...

he teases other girls... never me. we hardly know each other... plus im not the girl to be teased...

what to do?

what you speak of isnt so much social alignments as intelectual inbalances, you are a deep person who likes to spend time developing your brain and he is someone who likes to develop relationships socially, so in that sense you are different but dont think for a second that there is a handycap in you not being as socially endowed as him i mean for you it will be yet another thing to learn so just go and ask him what you want to know and if he is the way you described him to be he should have no problem answering you honestly.

Same thing happen to me i was also quiet in one of my classes in high school after i returned from being a drop out. I had my group of friends and everything. But it was always that class i didn't feel like i belonged in there. But it takes two to talk.So stop being a stranger and talk to someone close to you.:) It doesn't have to be a straight out conversation, Just comment on something they are wearing or just small remarks about that class. Then just keep talking and a great conversation will start flowing. No body really understands each other in high school every one is going threw their own life crisis or w.e so don't feel like an outcast. Being different is not a bad thing at all why would you want to be like the rest, Hope that helps gooooood luck! <3 : D

The only way it'll make any difference is if the two people involved let it. If you two start a relationship, make sure from the beginning that you'll be united in case people from either clique try to break you up, or tear you down.

Honestly i think it does.... I am sorta in the same situation.

He is in the mexican gangster group but he isnt a gangster.. his friends just are.. and me and my friends are like normal group but it would be so awkard if he comes or if i go over there..

I think you should first give it a try.. you never know.. it could work out.

go for it! Sometimes I see happy couples that are from other "worlds" try it! If you make a mistake, you will learn from it and it will make you a stronger person(mentally)
