And show our love to our beloved IWF?

IWF is the epitome of class and brings this sorely needed aspect to R&S. She is an example of compassion and many here have felt her comforting words and encouraging ways.

When I was but new here and unsure of my footing, this lovely lady took me under her wing, and for those who do not know, the shelter of a penguin's wing is indeed a precious thing. As tenacious as a mother penguin with her chicks, IWF is the patient, dedicated, and absolutely indefatiguable friend of all who come here in spirit of openness and humour.

We have all learned much from our dear penguin, and much has been liberally given by her to feed our hungry souls. Out of her gracious abundance of spirit she has nourished us all and made us more than acquaintances. She has fostered us orphans and made us a family.

We can do no less than pay proper homage to our loving foster-mother and gatherer of lost strays, our beloved IWF.

"And show our love to our beloved IWF?" - Yes, I look for IWF daily. Much respect to IWF. I kept our time together more educational than social as I am human and she is a Penguin. Wonderful mind. (I can't be cold, and I can't live on such a strict fish diet, I need junk food and chocolate.)

Come on Jack my friend! The religious can't even agree within the same religion, let alone between them. But I do believe that human beings have a natural inclination to empathy and mutual cooperation when they can put religious and tribal fantasies aside. We wouldn't have survived if this were not so. The fantasies really only serve those who seek to secure power through them. The "good" would be just as good without them. They are lovely to meet, because they give us more confidence in our own humanity as well as others'. Let there be more of it!

I dunno IWF? Should i??

Well, as long as people have religion we cannot live in harmony.

The muslims will always think that christians are doomed in eternal hell, since they worship the Jesus god, not the Father god....non-believers who therefore, isn't worth to befriend and cannot be called as brother or sister.

The Christian will always assume that all muslims are bound to be burn in hell since they did not choose 'The Only Way'....and was not baptized in 'his name'. They are waiting for a war to be started in a certain area, so that their god could come down again from heaven, proofing that they were right ones all along...

The jews thinks that christian and muslims follows false prophets since the think they are the only true descendant of Abraham, therefore hold a unique covenant with the GOD himself, who promised them a kingdom. No matter who lives in that premises at moment, it's theirs...given by the almighty himself....

I was only describing 3 religions which supposed to worship the same god. How can they live in harmony if each one of them think that they are better than the rest...? That their ways is the only way, their value is the most righteous one?

Atheists and agnostics with compassion and empathy CAN live in harmony, they do not have the 'BLIND FAITH' that controls their moral judgement.

LOL... I like "I walk Funny" no matter what new avatar and acct name she has, but, "pay homage" to her? ummmmm can't I just say "God Bless"?

LOL I like and respect many of you whom are in that "clique", but, for other reasons.... sorry, love to have fun, but, I guess in this instance, I just don't feel right that R&S has become a club of "fun and games" instead of what it's meant for. :)

Now then, if it was in some other category I may have joined you, but here? For me, it just isn't for me.... but I see that it is for many of you and that's ok :)

I don't know IWF and I cannot endorse it without further investigation. Sorry, I can't just blindly follow, that's my nature.
