just think about when you sit beside guys or flirt with the ones you don't like, you know you don't mean it and aren't interested in them but you enjoy talking with them and being around them

Maturity will be the answer for you.
Right now you need a huge reality check on your personality. You don't want him around other girls OR guys? How about pets? Are you jealous of them too?
If I had someone like you around me, I'd run away from home....What made you this insecure?

i was in this same position about 4 months ago.
my ex boyfriend of 1 year started liking my best friend
its really hard not to be jealous but youll get by
just talk to him and ask him about it.
if hes a trustworthy guy he'll listen to you
