I don't want anything big, or for it to look trashy..just something cute, i was thinking of my foot? Not too sure..any ideas?

my friend has one on her right ankle, not too big, just big enough to see. it's actually kind of pretty. good luck :)

My rose has 3 leaves and a dew drop. It sits high up on my left shoulder. A short sleeve shirt covers it but in a tank or swim suit it can be seen. I'd show a pic of it but I don't have any on this computer. Oh and my tattoo is a bit bigger than a quarter. Very petite and feminine.

If you don't want to look trashy, don't get it on the ankle, foot or arm. Just put it on your hip - that way you can hide it when necessary (ie. job interviews), and show it on the beach or in summer clothing. It's ultimately for YOU, not everyone else. Why would you want one though? It's SOOOOO permanent - what if you change your mind? What if you don't like it? It's always going to be there.
Way too permanent for my liking. And a bit trashy really.

The foot or ankle is a decent spot for a small and pretty tattoo such as a rose.

It's a pretty common placement for roses, but i think roses on ankles are pretty. I have one.
Your foot would be good too, just make sure it's what you really want before you go get it.

i think the foot or maybe you could get the rose on your ankle and then have thorns and vines going all the way around with maybe some baby roses or leaves, that would be really cute I think

If you have'nt had a tattoo done..beaware that the foot is one of the most painful places to have one done. Any place that is more boney..with thin skin will be much more painful..then let's say..on your butt..where it is more fleshy.

I got a tiny tattoo on my hip, like not quite in "that" area, but low enough that it doesn't show with jeans on (and only with some bathing suits). It is the best place, because it is easily hideable, but also easy to show people.

If it were me, I would put it on my lower back, or on my upper back behind my shoulder. I've heard it hurts a lot less.
The ankle would look very cute, but in the process it will be very painful.
