Well jack.... there are the babes in Christ whom pretty much can stay a baby Christian all their life because they don't seek a closer relationship with the Lord on God's terms...

...and there are the "mature" Christians whom has chosen to have a closer relationship with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is active in their lives, hearts, prayers, thoughts, words, deeds, etc.....regardless of their age in man's world.

The latter group is whom I call the "True Christian"... the others are always seeking to be one but don't want to make the effort, or truly don't understand HOW to become a "mature" Christian because they had never gotten to a place in their lives where they were WILLING to give up, repent, and ask.

Peace be with you :)

A Christian is a Christian because he or she believes in Jesus Christ. Trust is the issue.

Trust = Faith.

They are synonymous.

Jesus lined it out for us in John 3, where he said that simple trust is what we need to do in order to be saved. A Christian will believe this.

I have found that most people define a 'Christain' as a follower of Christ. As a Catholic I define myself as a Christian who strives to do all things whatsoever that Christ commanded.

My definition of a Christian, like any person who believes in any religion, is a person who believes in the unseen, unproved, and totally deniable in order to give purpose to their lives and answer questions with the easiest answer possible regardless of whether that answer is correct or not.See: delusional

Anyone who claims to be a follower of Jesus CHRIST (hence the name).

I am Catholic, and we claim our Church to be the ONE founded by Jesus Christ.
