I've been checking ebay on a regular basis but have not found any. Does anyone have a line on these? I could probably sew some of my own from examples I've seen online, but it would be quicker and easier if I could just buy a set.

It's not secret, it's sacred. You can't buy them the way the Mormons who have a temple recommend and recieved their endowments do.
Find an ex-Mormon who went through the temple. See if they'll sell them, if they're really ex-Mormon it wouldn't bother them.

I don't believe so. You have to order them through the church and they probably only sell them to people who have done the temple ordinances because that's the point of the underwear in the first place, to remind LDS members of their covenants they made in the temple
