Im looking for a bit louder pipes...But my dad said that glass packs would make my truck sound like S***???

It would make it loud. And as time goes on and the fiberglass burns out, it will get louder and then the police get involved and then you are at the court house, you know the drill.
Go with a better muffler or exhaust system, like a Flowmaster or something like that.

I would spend the extra money for flowmaster. Glass packs don't sound good in my opinion. Turbo mufflers sound decent, but they are usually wayyyyy too loud.

I agree with Ford Man.. most of the people I know go with flowmasters and such for a deeper bass tone.
