I would say go for it Despite the fact that flys are nasty and what was stated above being true *I Personally* Think that Humans immune System is more then likely Strong enough for Us to handle a few fly nasty's but thats me I don't normally eat *that* part of the food the fly landed on so if i were you i would just move that part of the food aside or throw it away and I say enjoy.

I suppose you could, but why would you want to?

"When a housefly lands on our food, it vomits on the food. The digestive juices, enzymes, and saliva in the vomit begin to break down and dissolve the food. The fly can then suck up the liquid food with its sponge-like mouth parts and its proboscis. If flies eat food from garbage cans or any other source of germy food, some of those germs stick to the fly's mouthparts and when the fly vomits on its next snack (your sandwich?), it transfers some of those germs."

YUCK. No! Flies naturally regurgitate what they previously ate when they land, so if that fly ate feces, road kill, garbage, it's in your food. Don't eat it, that's just gross.
