OK, I was going down a 4 lane road, I was going to turn to my left at the light to go to a dept. store. The light was green, the cars in the on-coming lane were all turning to their left. I did not see any other cars coming. So as I was entering the parking lot, almost finished with my turn, I feel something tap my bumper. So a Loomis Fargo, armored car, taps my bumper. I was in a hurry with a medical emergency and had to get to my daughter. There was no damage at all done to either vehicle. I offered to give them all my information but they wouldn't take it. So, I left. What kind of trouble could I be in? I have nothing on my record and have a good traffic record.

Well you should have called the police just for there records . Let's say you are sitting at a Light and a car rear ends you .It's his fault and the damage is mostly to his car and you let him off knowing he would get a ticket .He thanks you then he calls the police and tells them you backed into him and then fled the seen and now your facing a hit and run ! So next time it happens at least make the person at fault sign a statement to what happened. I wouldn't worry about your case because he would be more worried about his job.

If they wouldn't take it because they had called the police, then yes, you could be charged with fleeing the scene of an accident. If they didn't take it because there wasn't any damage and they were satisfied, then no, that is both drivers' perogative. Confused a little about the whole going to the department store, but on a medical emergency thing - if you are charged, you might want to clean up your story a bit.

Was the armored car going through the intersection? It sounds like, the way you describe it, that you were completing your turn BEFORE the armored car approached the intersection, and then HE tapped you. Bottom line is if there is no damage, it is not an accident. If an exchange was attemtped and they didn't want it, what more were you to do? Why did you think this was your fault? Why did you think you fled the scene? Somethings up...

This is what we would refer to as a "No Fault Accident". Most agencies would not even file a report on any damage under $1,000. If you stopped and offered your information to the Loomis Fargo guys, you did ok. They declined your information. No people were injured, no damage done to either vehicle, at least by your admission.
Just chalk it up to "Oops, my bad", and be on your way.
No harm, no foul.

The humor in all of that's which you think of the persons responding to this are "fags". in the beginning, stay at college. then you definately could a minimum of be waiting to spell all the criminal costs against you and particular be waiting to examine the regulations positioned on you whilst on probation. 2nd, lay off the medicine. they're killing off necessary concepts cells at a speedy fee. each residing one you have left is significant now. you have not got any room left to lose any further. 0.33, i in my view desire that your lady pal realizes what a loser you're and strikes on. not in basic terms did you get in an accident utilising her vehicle, you fled the scene AND did not tell her approximately it till after the police have been given in touch. In different phrases, you will not have instructed her if the police did not come calling. As on your punishment, it particularly is totally achievable that your probation would be revoked and you will could serve regardless of time exchange into indicated do you need to fail to stick to the regulations of your probation. do not drop the cleansing soap! (Oh, I forgot, you may truthfully like that.)

Once you entered the parking lot, you are on private property. Most of the time the police cannot even cite you for a traffic mishap on private property. The would refer you to consult a lawyer in this matter for possible civil action.

Since the presumption of guilt is on the person who does the rear ending, he was trying to get out of a ticket or report to his insurance.

Since they had no damage, they didn't have to make a report, so you shouldn't worry about it.
Plus, you offered.
