No, ma'am.
Here are my concerns by priority:
1. The economy
2. Health & welfare
3. Education
4. Foreign affairs
5. Ecology
Actually it's hard to say what is more important. I see immigration as part economy and part ecology.
Since my mother was a LEGAL immigrant (and a homemaker is one of the hardest workers) I feel this issue in more ways than one. And it's not just a problem for more developed states and nations. It's global.
But immigration is a human thing. It's inevitable. You can only try to manage it but it's like smoothing out the bubbles on a window decal.

It wasn't. But I recently found out that my sister-in-laws husband has an expired visa (I didn't even know he wasn't a citizen). They have a 1 year old baby. Now we are worried about them having to move to Mexico. The guy works all day long almost every day, I guess its been difficult for him to learn enough English to pass the test. Now we are thinking about either splitting up the family, or having to visit them in Mexico.
I just hope they find a way to keep law abiding, hard working people here. He's very skilled at what he does, and I'm sure there are lots more like him that will contribute by paying taxes. Not knowing English has never been a serious problem in the US...the 2nd generation always learns. We just expect things to happen instantaneously nowadays.

nope!
You act if presidents create bills and pass them. Not his/her job!
If you are a one issue voter you should stay home as there are a lot of things that are out of the presidents power to change and that includes Roe v Wade!
The Republicans had 12 years to do something! Why didn't they? I can tell you! They are their employers for the most part!
You can always find issues you disagree with. You should at least look at the issues that a president has power over, and that is not the Congress or the US Supreme Court. And he/she can't change the constitution either!

Yes, I am voting entirely on this issue. There is no issue more important at this time. It's of paramount importance to have each and every illegal alien deported as soon as possible. A year ago, I wouldn't have thought that justice would ever prevail, but the tide has definitely been turning. The majority of Americans now support enforcing our own laws.

Yes, it is the deciding factor for me in electing a president. Who I will vote for as president is fairly important and it would be irresponsible to vote without putting some thought into it so yes, I give that thought.
I simply would not vote for a candidate that support illegals in the U.S....it has nothing to do with being "the biggest worry"...illegals are FAR from the biggest worry in my life. FAR from the biggest issue in this world. Illegals are the ones trying to make themselves everyone's biggest worry and it obviously hasn't worked out well for them.

Of course not!!! There are plenty of issues other than "illegal aliens" to worry about. That's not to say that anti-illegals should just keep our mouths shut on how we are feeling about the situation. The two "main" issues that are a deciding factor on who I will vote for are... (1) the war in Iraq (where my son so happens to be) & (2) illegal immigration. I will be voting for Ron Pau!!! He will bring the troops home where they belong (to guard our own borders) & he will clarify the 14th amendment to read "No birth-right citizenship/ anchor babies" & he will abolish the welfare state, so that illegal aliens can not sneak across the border & pop out an anchor babie just to get welfare & medical benefits & then protest in our streets (while waving a Mexican flag & disrespecting Ole Glory) stating that we are breaking up their families by deporting the illegal parents. He says that American citizens should not be forced to foot the bill for these people. Common sense should tell you that everyone has more than one issue. You only hear the issue of illegal immigration when you choose to come to the Immigration forum. Go to another forum & you will notice that this issue isn't brought up there. Why do you want people to just shut up & go away on something they believe in??? Just as the pro-illegals are passionate about trying to get people to see their point of view... there are just as many (or more) anti-illegals that are trying to do the same thing.

Nope its just fun to argue your point and watch others try and prove you wrong. Then trying to pursuade them right when their trying to do the same to me.
But I agree that this issue occupies my mind on this site for now. As far as my vote it may be simular to my previous votes which were John Carey and Al Gore. But I was kinda thinking of maybe not picking a dem. or a rep. and going with the other parties.

Yes, illegal immigration will be the deciding factor when I vote. It is a matter of the way of life that the American people have enjoyed being flushed down the toilet and becoming nothing more than a memory. We cannot let that happen because we want to be politically correct. We must secure our border and deport the illegals.

The overall outsourcing/globalism/ overimmigration / illegal immigration eroding bargaining power/overcrowded schools and overstrained services issue (which I consider connected) is the biggest issue for me voting for president. I think it impacts my own children's education, future and opportunities more dramatically than any other issue I actually have any ability to impact.
