Okay some of you rude people. I know what the heck a license's plate is. The OFFICER is the one who asked for my Driver's licenses and looked as he doubled checked my tag and then HE stated; you tag expired a few days ago because your birthday was 08/26 !!! It was 08/31/07 today when he did this. He made that comment, not me. So, apparently, the to them, your birthday does have something to do with the expiration of the expiration sticker on the licenses plate !!!!! Why in the world would be make that statement. Everyone can see that it has 08/07 on it.

your plate was expired. stop asking the same damn question and RENEW IT!

it obviously falls under the category of EXPIRED if your birthday was 5 days ago and the date of expiration on your plate is the SAME DATE. it is YOUR responsibility to make sure that your vehicle and ALL of it's documents are in working order.

get your tag renewed and thank your lucky stars you didn't get a ticket and the cop WAS nice and didn't impound your car.

what is so hard to comprehend that you NEED to renew it and that's what he was telling you?

I don't know what state you're in, but in Ohio, your tag had expired on your birthday. Although the sticker only has the month and year on it, the license expires on your b-day. Check with your state's Dept. of Motor Vehicles, but I'm sure the police officer knows your state's licensing laws.

Don't know what state you are in, but in Kentucky (and Texas and Florida) your tag expires on the last day of the month - not your birthday. Maybe your state is different, maybe he was a new officer, maybe he was just a jerk. If he wrote you for it, I would definetly fight it.

That actually is kind of weird, and here I just thought you were a dumbass. My birthday is in June but my plate expires in Sept. Maybe it varies from state to state?

Sorry, but we are not the "Police Officer" who stopped you, why don't you go by his house and harass him?

You need to get a grip!
