hello friend. God can speak to someone in any way He pleases. If you're looking to be spoken to during prayer, don't make the prayer a one-way conversation. Talk to God and then listen. Spend time in silence before God. Like when you're walking or something. God has spoken to me a many a times just sitting outside in silence before Him. Ask Him to replace your thoughts with His. But no, it's not only when we prayer that He speaks to us. He can use dreams/visions, events, another person, the Bible, silence, etc..etc... He's God, the way He can speak to us is boundless! hope that helps you.

That my friend is the voice of God speaking to u..

No, he speaks to us all the time. He's constantly giving us help and hints, but it's up to us to listen and understand.

Although he speaks to us all the time, we still need to pray to him for many reasons, mostly for our own good, and to help us open up and listen to him better.

Interviewer: What do you say to God when you pray?
Mother Terresa: I don't say anything. I just listen.
Interviewer: And what does God say to you?
Mother Terresa: He doesn't say anything at all. He
just listens. And if you can't understand that, I can't
explain it to you.
