That would mean you are not at the gas station.

I believe that it is illegal to smoke within 50ft of a gas pump. It could be 100ft, I'm not sure which is right. I just know that I put out my cigarette before I get to the gas station. I want to be here next week and the week after that. Gas does go boom, seen that trick before and don't want to see it again.
good luck

you know the answer if you have to ask a dumb question like this. why would you chance it walking up toi the station or whatever? most gas stations have no smoking signs and its common knowledge. only a moron would tempt fate with a lit cig at a gas station. idiot!

the answer is HELL NO - smoking within 100ft of flammable materials or their storage is ILLEGAL. not only the potential danger of them mixing with checmical fumes but the possibility of the heat from the cigarette igniting static elctricity sparks generated by a myriad of things like getting in and out of the vehicle (especially for those with cloth seats) or those generated by cell phones also ( that's why you shouldn't talk on your cell at gas stations either - thank God for bluetooth)

sure you could, but i would try counting the pellets fiert outa a 12 gauge shotgun first (coming at you of curse) if you survive and got the right number 5 times over you know you got an angle watching out for you and can move on to a gas station.....

You must extinguish the cigarette before you go near the pumps (and not extinguish it anywhere that gas has spilled!), but you may continue to inhale whatever smoke is left in it and may exhale whatever smoke you have in your mouth, throat and lungs.

Not unless you have a death wish for yourself and others. The end of the cigarette is still burning and could possibly ignite gasoline vapors.
