Simply put, Every person reacts to meds, differently and there is no universal antibiotic that works for everybody, Drink plenty of water, cranberry juice and if you get on a antibiotic , don't stop taking it till the bottles empty, I don't care if you do feel better,

Keflex is the best, and the thing that turns it bright yellow/orange is Peridum which isn't an antibiotic, it just helps some how with discomfort.Peridum is about the same as taking a AZO pill. I'd say drink lots of water, and don't wait to pee, go right when you get the urge.

Tetracycline.

Since I started drinking cranberry juice and eating cranberries daily 22 years ago, I have not had an infection.

Prior to the cranberry juice regimen I had 2 or 3 infections a year.

However, cranberries will not cure an infection. Eat or drink them as a prevention.

Cipro and chase it down with unsweetened cranberry juice. The juice actually stops the bacteria from binding to the lining of your bladder and urethra and thereby it passes out your body.
