The mitochondrial DNA regressive studies say that it was about 150,000 years since there was a small enough female population that we are all direct decedents of a single woman.

Hi...I had read the article that all of us humans were from the African decent. I'm not going to dispute since I'm not a scientist nor a professional in that field. Now, the time line could be off, Plato also could have been off in the findings of Atlantis by 900 yrs. This is a possibility also. If we are decedents from Africa then I'm thinking we must have evolved other than been created by God and I am a believer in my religion. How does one actually know? Scientists and archaeologists are discovering new artifacts and new species and DNA findings everyday, how do we know that what they find today won't change tomorrow? We can assume on what had taken place 60/70 thousand years ago but realistically speaking it's a total mystery and we may never find the true meaning of the creation of man. Was Adam created by God and placed in Africa or was Adam created by God in the Middle East where they believe the Garden of Eden was located or did God create man then evolution finished where God left off? I was not sure the numbers, however, I have heard about that kinda news before. I have also seen a TV program regarding kidnap of young kids and young women in China, via CNN 5-6 years ago. They were forced to work in brick kilns and farms, etc, in rural Provinces. Government took an action, but probably situation haven't changed very much. I think current Government with Commy party doesn't govern China well. It is said history repeats. If they remained, civilians would uprise again. Then my beloved China would be in chaos like the era of Xinhai Revolution, Yuan Shikai and Civil War in near future. I read the report of Times. Those kidnapped kids and people are locals, not foreigners. The human rights of local people has to be protected by their nation. Today something is wrong with China. As the article, with the Olympics in Beijing next year, China’s human rights and environmental record will be scrutinized in the World.

73,000 years ago, wow, that was a long time ago, was anybody here then, NO, We know, even atheist scientists admit we have about 6,000 years of recorded history, so thats about how long we've been here. The earth may have been here longer but man, I don't think so, but thats not the big picture here is it, My big picture is that the Bible is truth, scientists are still find writings in caves all across the middle east that talk about or say the same things we have in our Bibles. Now it doesn't take a rock to fall on my head to know that the word of God is the Bible, Now the Bible says that we must believe inJesus Christ to go to heaven, Hell was made for the devil and his angels or demons, whatever you want to call them. But to get to Heaven we must be a born again follower of Jesus or we will wind up right in the same place the devil is which is called a lake of fire and that don't sound to good especially when just every few days a volcano spues out somewhere. Obviously that lake of fire is in the middle of the earth, a place I donot want to go do you. So ask yourself, do you believe in the Bible, do you believe Jesus died on a cross for you. Do you believe in the Supernatural. The bible does not say he lived 70-000 years ago only about 6000, as well the flood covered the whole earth not one area. WHy would GOd ask Noah to build a boat when he could just as easily say move over there where there will be no flood. relying on man for knowledge and applying it to the bible does not work man does not know all the past nor the future only GOd does. If you believe in the bible you must believe in this or else you put the ides of man over the ideas of God. There are many ways to fit the science of the world into the bible so that they fit together without having to change what the bible says. I start with the truth of the bible and find the truth of the world. not the flaws of man to make the bible fit the flaws of man. It does not work that way.

You are assuming that the dating of your premise is correct. We all start with our presupositions and go from there. Did you know that scientists/archeologists tell the carbon daters when they think the evidence should be dated? Many experiments have been done giving a wrong date on fossils on purpose and the daters have come back agreeing with the wrong date submitted.
