No to both. Being gay doesn't mean child molester. Being gay does mean that American society can impose all manner of oppression on you though.
Gay men are often attacked and murdered in this country and Law Enforcement does nothing to protect us. Instead of cops hanging out in men's room stalls they should be patrolling the streets.
Just last month I was attacked by three men with knives while entering a Gay bar in Detroit. Being a retired soldier, I was able to fend them off with no injury to myself. I called the police, the dispatcher said she would send a car, three hours later, no car. The cops were probably in the donut shop or hanging out in public Men's rooms.

I find the term "entrapment" a bit ridiculous! An honest person is not going to be "entrapped" no matter what the police do. I am not going to solicit, buy drugs, take a bribe, or anything else illegal. I believe by setting up these type of operations, they are simply providing a situation wherein the person is going to do what they were going to do (and probably already have) anyway - this time the police just ensure they get caught.

Yes restroom stings are needed, children use public restrooms.
Entrapment is something totally different. Entrapment only occurs when someone is enticed to commit a crime he had not previously contemplated. If dude is playing footsie or poking his junk through a hole it isn't entrapment.
I am independent and consider myself a liberal conservative.

I will aprove of literally anything that helps to get perverts off of our streets as too many children are paying the price for these people roaming freely. The deffinition of entrapment is vague at best when it comes to the legal system. What will apear as entrapment to us, may be defined totally different when it comes to catching a bad guy.
As far as L or C? I'll not label myself that way. I'm just a regular type of guy that will speak his mind.

The cops know that entrapment cases will not stick. They know how to set up a sting.
I think sting operations a key to fighting certain crimes, like rest room pervs.

I believe in all sting operations and as far as Craig, there was NO entrapment. I don't believe in entrapment when it really IS entrapment. I don't need a title to have an opinion.

Yes,
If there is some pervert looking into stalls then I approve of sting operations in public restrooms. There could be innocent kids using the facilities.... R (R= Republican)

I want to know its safe for me to send my grandson into a rest room without his being accosted, so yes to the sting, and, since I assume you are referring to the Craig episode, Craig entered the other stall with his foot as a signal, so it wasn't an entrapment. The officer didn't do anything to entice Craig into making the overture.
I'm a fairly conservative Democrat, and yes we do exist.
