Well don't ignore it as it could get infected, and might actually just be uncomfortable. Be very careful when you shower or bath not to get regular soap on the cut, and be sure to gently towel and dry your area off too. If possible put something on it like A&D or KY, or something to cover the cut that will prevent it from dry rubbing and irritating you, as well as keep moisture out so it can heal faster. You may need to lay off of any sexual contact for a few days too just to make sure it heals and doesn't get infected. You should be fine, just keep an eye on it, or let your boyfriend do it. Make sure he is more careful next time, I am sure if he knows he has to leave you alone for a few days he will cut his nails more often. :0) Good Luck!!!

The cut is likely to be one that will heal by itself. Leave it to do just that, and give it a few days to get better. And a rinse with tepid clean water once or twice a day.
The vagina (and vulva) is rather a bug-prone place - warm, moist, dark, open to the outside world – an ideal place for micro-organisms to nestle in.
I suggest you keep the wound clean with just water for a bit. If it gets worse soon, or no better within, say, two days, see a doctor.
In the mean time: the more you drink, the less salts in your urine. It’s those salts that irritate an open wound. Watery pee stings less than the dark-yellow type. Urine, by the way, is sterile and does not do harm to the cut.
If things don’t get better in a hurry, see a doctor.

Tell him to keep his nails short. By reducing the chance of "cuts" then you will reduce the chance of infection. Treat the infection with anti-oxidants such as: Garlic. Tomatoes and Chilly peppers. Eat a mild salsa such as "Pace" in an 8oz glass daily and you will fight infections. I also suggest Green tea as a natural anti-infection agent.

"Go ask Alice" she has a web site where u can ask her questions...and shes awesome!!
I would say nothing is wrong...I was dating a guy who cut me when he did this and it hurt alot but nothing bad should happen if the guy has clean hands...which u should make him wash before entering you body.
If itchin ocurs it is normal but if its still there after the cut has been gone then got to a doctor to see if you have any infections!

For a women especially, don't ever ignore female problems, go get it checked out right away, yes it could be an infection starting. Go to your physician to request for pelvic exam. In the meantime use protection when having intercourse.

Dear Young Lady; Wash yourself with soapy water in that area where he cut you, don't worry there is possibly no infection.

I suggest you and your boyfriend think of something else to do. If you have an infection you will need to go to the doctor for antibiotics. I hope you learn something from this; respect your body. Obviously, your boyfriend does not.
