Yahoo answers isn't here for you to advertise a dog you no longer want to keep. When getting a dog next time remember that it is at least a 10 year commitment then you will not have this problem. Maybe you should post it in the classifieds or put posters up...do not advertise on Yahoo Answers chances are no one is going to adopt your dog on here. Good luck I hope he finds a good home.

Please do an online search for a dachshund rescue in your area and see if they have room to take your dachshund in.
They will find him/her a safe home - rescues check the home and references to make sure the dog goes to the right home. Giving your dog to a stranger is very dangerous for the dog - anything could happen to it, and free dogs are often used for dog fighting bait or medical experimentation.
I currently have a dachshund in foster who was used for pit bull bait, so please try to get your dog into a rescue instead.

Some nationwide dachshund rescues are;
Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue, DARE,
Almost Home Dachshund Rescue, Dachshund Rescue of North America. There are others, but I am not in your area so can't help you - do an online search for "dachshund rescue" and contact one in your area --- please --- you owe this to your dog.

Well then, just contact the rescues I have already listed and see if they have a dachshund you can adopt.
Try Petfinder.com and your local shelters and Humane Society as well as ASPCA too.

Cannot make sense out of your statement. Does not seem to be a question.

Placing a question mark into a bunch of words does not make it a question.

Please restate or edit in order that we may attempt to answer you.
