Earlier I asked what it means when guys stare and i got plenty of good answers but now i want to know what guys think about when they stare at a girl in class.

If he's staring all the time (like everyday) then 99% of the time he thinks you're cute or hot. Doesn't necessarily mean he wants to get with you though.
Trust me. I'm a guy and I almost never waste my time staring at someone because they are ugly, only if I think they are attractive.

What am I thinking when staring at a girl in class is I'm wondering if the girl sitting in front of her would go out with me.

the last class i was in was a LONG time ago --- now if i gaze (staring can be a bit tooo much) --- i look at her face her eyes her hair and how it all fits together --- admiring someone i consider attractive --- especially now with no other motives or fantasies ---- really like admiring something beautiful in nature ---- best wishes
