Some Troll probably went back through your questions and answers hitting the abuse button. There is a self appointed group in here doing that. Why Yahoo lets them get away with it is a mystery. I have had it happen to me.

I agree that people should have the right to remove a question, but you should get to keep your points if they were already awarded (everyone should get to keep their points...the points are given for answering the question...you did that).
I do think you should lose your points if YOU deleted your answer, but if someone else deletes the question, that's not your fault. Of course I think a lot of the other settings on here are pretty stupid such as giving people the same amount of points for short answers as for long answers (rewards quantity not quality)...wouldn't it be better to give everyone 1 point for answering and then let the asker award additional points for especially good answers (including 10 points for the best answer)? That may not be feasible but anything has got to be better than a reward system that encourages people to provide quick, thoughtless, even irrelevant answers to get points and offers no reward for taking the time to actually read the question and the details.

There should be something akin to a statue of limitations on these types of things. You know, after a question is closed and buried on the bottom of the pile, people shouldn't still be digging them up and stealing points.

To delete a 2 month old question? I imagine they must have too much free time...

No I don't and you must have angered someone who called you out on a violation. If your question was removed you didn't deserve the points did you?

How did someone else delete your question? That's so rude. A while back, a question I answered was deleted and my answer disappeared with it. I was so upset.

i've seen that before myself
wouldn't happen if YA ~was~ actually a discussion site and not some inane points competition (when the YA staff professes any purpose for this site, I immediately feel like I'm being shown the emporer's new clothes .......)

Thats ok. I had some young girl (like 7th grade) report me because I told her that she needs to get offline, quit worrying so much about boys (and popularity), and do some English homework (her grammar was horrible). *sigh*
