Believers only. If God is imaginary, he can't be insulted because he doesn't exist, and if he does exist saying he doesn't is as insulting as saying your blue shirt is green.
Saying "unicorns are ugly" only insults the unicorns, though.

It tells the truth something that is often unpopular .
No one wants to own up to having been foolish in their beliefs of all things ,so I can see why the extreme sensitivity .
To lower it to insult is a ploy to ignore .

I would think the all powerful creator of the universe wouldn't have such a thin skin skin.
'That atheist called me imaginary! I can't believe I spent all my time creating him and his entire existence just for him to hurt my feelings.....sniff...sniff... I'm going home and I'm taking my ball with me!'

neither because your denial and name-calling does not change that the Lord is God, and neither does it change that I am His child and a partaker of all heaven's blessings. Truth can't be insulted, but it sure can and will be soon vindicated by the Lord Himself.

It should not "insult" anyone...it is merely a difference of opinion and should be taken as such. It is best, however, to live one's life as if there is a God and find out there isn't, rather than live one's life as if there isn't a God and find out there is.

It does not insult me and I believe in Him. I am pretty sure He finds it offensive. (since I believe in Him - but I'm also ok with you not believing in Him).
