impacting your spirituality?

According to current thought, anything (including pork rinds) can be addictive. According to 12 Step Program teachings, addictions/bad habits block- and replace-any possible connection with one's better or higher self. Thus my question.

I used to eat pork rinds when I was on the Atkins Diet. They really don't have a great flavor. They are highly over-rated.

I am mexican and we eat pork rind in different dishes like, pork rind and beans, pork rind in red or green chile sauce, and other ways too. I believe any addiction is negative.

Wow, personally I love them. Especially the really spicy ones. I don't think they've really impacted my spirituality at all. They have however impacted how close my husband was willing to get to me after I ate them as he believes they smell like farts!

I could eat a few about every 10 years. I guess that makes me a "leave 'em" peep.

I had to try them once and was highly disgusted. I was filled with negative energy for a short time afterward.
