I think you will find that people who use this forum have cancer or have someone close to them with cancer.

They are not medical experts and are unlikely to have the strength to help with homework. Try the homework forum.

I bet doing a little google detective work is a better way to get usable answers, because, as the first person to answer noted, the people here are often people dealing with cancer in some form or another not working on the homework.

Cancers that grow inside a structure designed for a smooth flow of some material or other will cause an obstruction that could be dangerous. The best example of this is colon cancer. The tumor gradually reduces the size of the opening, obstructing the flow of feces, causing problems. Cancers that grow adjacent to a structure designed for a certain space will cause a reduction of that space and push against the original structure. The best example of this would be a cancerous brain tumor. The skull has a fixed volume, and if the tumor starts to take over the brain's space, it will press against the brain and cause problems.
