Steaming is best. Boiling them adds too much water to the meat while steam gets hotter than boiled water. They should only need to be steamed over boiling water for a few minutes.

NO NO NO! I do not agree, boiling them is not the best way...if they are frozen and pre cooked already, which is the way most of them come (the shells are pink) either put them on the grill and turn after a few minutes, I usually cook them with my steaks. If you don't have a grill, then put them under the broiler until they just start to get a little tan, but put the rack down low, then turn them and wait till they almost get tan the shell will crack much easier and they will be moist and wonderful!

Well first you need a mummy and daddy crab, and what they do is they have intercourse, and produce lots of little crabs who grow up, crabs have legs. All you have to do is catch one tear its legs off season to taste and eat, or you can boil or dry roast, or shell it and it fries quite nice as a antipasti with a natural yogurt and basil and chive dressing.

I saw this on Emeril, but haven't tried it yet...sounds easy though...I would think that you could omit the dill,if you didn't have any. 3 crab legs & some fresh dill..wrap in 2 layers of damp paper towels...then wrap in plastic wrap...cook 2 minutes on high.

Forget the water, and try your broiler, or grill them outdoors, with this you can add flavors instead of washing it away. You can season it anyway you like, Garlic butter, lemon, chili, just have fun with it.

Just boil them in a big pot of water until the shells are bright colored. They are done when the color of the shell gets darker.
