What do you think about me painting my room these different combonations? :
a soft green with a thick pink stripe on the top and bottom of the wall?
or
a pink wall with either a blue or green stripe on the top and bottom of the wall?
Any comments help!

i think you should do a mint green or like the crayola crayon color called sea green. but more of a mint green with a candy pink(one stripe on top one on the bottom. or alternate the stripes going vertically with different sizes.

The colors sound fine either way, but I wouldnt do the stripes that way. I would run them around the room in the middle of the wall,or maybe at different heights on each wall, or maybe a large stripe surrounded by two smaller ones, or run them on a diagonal.
My daughters room is 3 walls yellow, with pink and orange stripes on a diagonal (large orange stripe, with a smaller pink one), and her 4th wall is orange.

Either sound good but do horizontal stripes in a pale color of the soft green or pink, with the soft green or pink being the background color.

normally pink and sky blue colors r very dull. yr room will be in dark with these shades. that is what i experienced. u can use orange stripes with green wall

Pick and buy the bedding first - it's much easier to match up paint to fabric than vice versa.
I like the soft green idea - you won't get tired of it as fast.

I think you should use a light blue with a lime green stipe(s) because those are my favorite colors
