The correct answer is within 1 or 2 miles from your home. The other answer within 5 miles from your home may also be correct. These figures are based on insurance company statistics gathered from accident reports and customer claims.
Might need to re-read my Drivers Manual. It's been 28 years since I took the test.
Good Luck!

Always be defensive. Think that whatever can happen might happen. If you see a car at a stop sign think of what you will do if that car pulls out. If your following a car think what you can do if they slam on their own brakes. Eventually it will just be a habit and be normal thinking as you drive. Im not sure of what the most common accident is but i de know that most accidents happen in bad weather.

The news reported years ago.70% of car accidents take place within 5 miles from your home. There was no reason given for this it was just stated as fact. They also said this info came from the department of transportation.
