The idea of a "homeland" for Jews...

I hate to break it but Israel belongs to Palestine. Maybe GERMANY should have been given to the Jews. That sounds like more sensible justice...

It is irrational to argue for the dissolution of Israeli statehood. It is advantageous to support Israel. This is a geopolitical issue, not a religious one.

The entire Middle East region is a fabrication that followed WWI, including the non-country called Palestine that was controlled by the British, after Turkey lost it.

Support for Israel statehood began even before the Balfour Declaration of 1917. Hitler was just a kid, so it is a mistake to say that this was a reaction to WWII. The plan was well in place for over 2 decades, by then.

If we're gonna' dissolve Israel, let's dissolve the whole region, hm?

Every time they have tried to duke it out - going back to 1948 - Israel has won. This won't change. The IDF rocks. Sorry.

Actually Israel belonged to the British and the Ottoman Empire before them.

In fact the land has switched hands about 20 times in history.

as for letting them duke it out, agreed, but in that case it is also my fight because its my people on the line.

If you wish to stay out that is your prerogative.

There is no way Jews obey the laws written in the Torah--stoning people to death for petty offenses--such as gathering kindling on the Sabbath--that is now regarded as murder--everywhere.
