OK...this is something I've never understood. Why is it that a guy can meet someone that he says is beautiful and that he loves her to death, but then turn around and go do the cyber sex thing with any woman who will let him? To me it makes no sense. He's got someone to love...someone who loves him...and yet he would rather do something like that. I even know a girl who tried it out for her guy's sake. He started the whole thing...stopped her within seconds with a lame excuse about people supposedly milling around the house...but the next night, she was talking to a another woman and he propositioned her to show herself on cam, even though he knew they were talking! She was so ashamed...and he never spoke of it after...nor did he speak to her after that. How could a guy claim to love someone and do that to her?
And yes...I know there are women who do the same...so let's say why do people do that? (Though I'm specifically looking for a guy's POV).

I had something like that happen to me (a female). I think the guy really felt inferior to the woman and wanted to try to be a "MAN." He just got mixed up about what it takes to be a real man.

Its due to the "grass is always greener on the other side" part of all human rationality. Even though when people get to the other side, they find the grass to be withered, brown, and dying. Or it could be the start/continuation of an addiction.

because once he is with u and realizes that some one liking him makes him feel so good about hisself and it buids his confidence and he starts thinking grass is greener on the other side i am just guessing but this may be a new relationship that u want to be forever , if u really think it is worthe it hang in there but don't lose you'r confidence, if it turns bad there r more fish in the sea.

It is not just in case of woman and man relations. It happens in all our life where we are in a world of more bad people. The interesting point is that all people are who are bad dont believe so. They build a logic which justified their bad deeds. Otherwise knowingly they cant do bad.

I strongly disagree with Jazelee, Not ALL men are pigs.
I think either this man is, or could become a criminalist. I think he takes pleasure in controlling people.

I say dump the guy, this clearly shows that he isn't committed to his relationship and that he would at anytime cheat or even leave this woman he suppose to love at anytime.

So ... let me understand your question. This woman in your example is expecting loyalty and commitment from a guy with whom she had cybersex? And she also believed him when he said he 'loved' her?

Isn't she bit high on expectactions and bit low on having street smarts?

well.....the computer is an addiction.....and some guys and girls are addicted. and trully if a guy does this too you......you need to move along......find someone who gives you the attention you deserve and values you. some guys may grow out of this behavior.........some will never change.

Because he is interested in QUANTITY - not QUALITY - when it comes to sex...

You deserve someone who is only interested in YOU - and this is just the FIRST step towards actually CHEATING on you. Kick his @$$ to the curb before he hurts you worse ;);)

ehh. my old ex- he was horney. he looked at nudity in mags. went to porn sites. i didnt really care. as long as he didnt have another relationship.

but hes a PLAYER. after two months, he suddenly went like, "omg, youre sucha b*tch. i hate you. will you ever leave me alone? youre so f*cked. youre face is messed up too."

all i wanna say is, THAT guy youre talking about, needs a LIFE. he went on those sites because he only wanted SEX.
