It really depends on your maturity levels. If you don't think you or he can seperate personal and professional feelings you shouldn't.
If you do, make 100% clear, your intentions. Let him know it's only a booty call if that's what it is. No feelings, no recollection of it tomorrrow. Let him know that if he can keep it to himself, it MIGHT happen again. Who knows?
It would also be best if you two already have a pretty firm friendship. This aids in providing a level of comfort as well as what's to be expected from the encounter. It can also make things less akward between you if you know how to keep the mood light.
If you listen to nothing else I or anyone says, just please remember this. If you have sex with him, things WILL change.
Sex can change everything.
Have fun and of course, be cautious!

There is no fool-proof way to separate one's professional and personal relationships. While I suspect you want to begin a sexual relationship with this guy(if that is what you mean by hookup),you have to fast forward to the future in case things don't work out as planned. That can mess up all the contacts you have to or must maintain with this guy.I guess in the final analysis, you need to consider the likelihood of the both of you remaining civil to each other and going back to just a professional relationship in the event of a break up. If you believe you can achieve that , then go for it by all means and enjoy every moment.

Is there a way to "hook up" and KEEP a professional relationship? I don't think that there is. I have never experienced that. Think outside of work if you want to keep your personal business out of the professional workplace.

You cannot maintain a professional relationship with someone you jump into bed with. Rethink your decision and look around elsewhere.

Impossible. The sex will always mess up the work relationship. Choose which is more important in the long run -- the job or the shtupping?

Maybe show him or give him a note (if your still in school) Or maybe in private let him know how u feel. It may not work but it wont ruin the relationship between you 2. Remember boys can act a little funny, but they feel the same as u. I say go for it.

Bump into him while working and touch his testes often. That'll tell him without ruining your pro relationship.

wonder of wonders, thought of all thoughts--you could just tell him! You don't have any problems telling all us strangers, why should it be a problem telling the guy you want to have sex with??? You can share your bed but not your mind??? geez.
