a ncie fresh fruit salad with a mint dressing is always nice.
A chessecake is always a crowd favourite and you dress them up to look very nice.
a simple recipe like this one would work well
No-Bake Cookies 'n Cream Cheesecake
Prep Time: 15 min
Total Time: 3 hr 15 min
Makes: 8 servings
9 OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, divided
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, 1/3 Less Fat than Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup vanilla low-fat yogurt
1 OREO Pie Crust (6 oz.)
HALVE 4 of the cookies; reserve for garnish. Finely chop remaining cookies; set aside. Remove 1 cup of the whipped topping; store in tightly covered container in refrigerator to use as a garnish.
BEAT Neufchatel cheese and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add yogurt; mix well. Gently stir in the remaining whipped topping and the chopped cookies. Spoon into crust.
REFRIGERATE 3 hours or until firm. Top with the reserved whipped topping and cookie halves just before serving. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.
Good luck hope this was helpful

After the rehearsal, ______ will be treating us to dinner at ______. This won't include spouses and partners, just the people in the wedding party. I hope this won't be a problem for you? For most dinner invitations, the "couples must be invited as a couple" rule would apply. But in this case the dinner is secondary to the rehearsal. You are feeding people to make up for keeping them away from home for the evening doing the rehearsal, not giving a dinner party, so the dinner party rules don't apply. The rehearsal dinner as Grand Occasion had its origins back in days when (1) the bride's family hosted, paid for, and controlled the wedding events and (2) out of towners were more likely to be someone's house guest than to stay at a hotel. For the groom's family to give a big dinner for all the attendants plus partners, along with a great many of the out of town guests, was at that time the way that the groom's family helped with the wedding. Instead of paying for the cake and flowers (for example) as they do now, they would get all those people out from underfoot for a day, feed and entertain the entire mob, giving the bride's family and the various hosts of houseguests, some blessed respite. In modern times, most couples prefer a more modest rehearsal dinner with more involvement of the groom's family in planning and paying for the wedding itself. out of towners

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, at room temperature
10 maraschino cherries

Spoon 1 teaspoon reserved pineapple juice over each biscuit. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden. Cool for 2 minutes. Invert the pan onto a plate to release the biscuits. Serve warm.

I WOULD DO A TRIFLE:
Mix 2 packages of softned cream chease and some mazcapone and 1 tsp. of vanilla.set aside. Whip 2 cups of heavy cream with 4 tbsps of sugar. fold into the cheese mixture.
Get some fresh berries like blue berries and raspberries. A 5 cups of them.
Add about 2 cups of berries to about 1 cup of water and 3 tbsps of sugar and mash down. let cook until the fluid reduces about half.
Bake or buy an angel food cake. poke holes into the cake and drizzle with some brandy(optional) tear apart and put a layer of the cake chunks into a clear glass bowl (a big one) and then add a layer of the berries (non cooked), then add a layer of the whipped topping. Add another layer of the cake, berries, and the whipped topping then drizzle the sauce over the top. You can do this with Chocolate cake and chocolate chips and toffee bits and the same whipped cream. Then drizzle the top with chocolate syrup (for the alcohol on the chocolate cake I would use Kahlua

Do not give this out often at all! But here you go- 1 box of yellow cake mix- 3 eggs- 1 bag of powder sugar regular size-1 box of cream cheese softened-1tsp of vanilla (real is better than the imitation but fine) -1 stick of butter melted- preheat oven to 350 and bake 30-40 or a little longer but keep a close eye after 30 min. until lightly brown on top (will puff up until u take it out and then will drop down into pan as it cools)
mix the cake mix and 1 egg and butter together until smooth/crumbly, press into a 9x13 pan - then mix 2 eggs cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla together until smooth and no lumps- pour this mixture on top and bake as above - After it cools cut into tiny squares b/c it is rich and MMMMM good and know that everyone will want it or the recipe but keep it close to your self! I call it T's bars but you can name it what u will and try it I know it is great! Let me know if you do! I can be e-mailed through here too! Thanks!

Fruit Pizza:
Make a shortbread crust. Spread with a cream cheese / sour cream mixture. Arrange with sliced fruits, finely shredded mint leaves, and crumpled sharp cheese. To make it extra fancy drizzle with a little melted chocolate (should not over power the fruit). Can also be done as individual tarts.

I just attended/participated in two weddings--one being my son!
Chocolate fountains are great, but they splatter and cleaning cloth tablecloths are a nightmare.
My suggestions are these:
1. Creme puffs--easy, elegant, and delish
2nd: Keebler makes these waffle 'bowls'. We used them for filling with a simple fruit mixture and having people choose between caramel sauce or warm chocolate sauce that they just spooned over themselves. It was also a hit!
Have fun and hope these ideas helped.

u could do a chocolate pavlova . just made a couple last week - easy and delicious but vvvvvvvvimpressive! u will need 6 egg whites
300g caster sugar
3 tablespoons sieved cocoa powder
splash of balsamic vinegar ( trust me here,OK)
for the topping; 3/4 pt whipped cream
2 punnets fresh raspberries
grated dark chocolate
method;turn on oven to 180 degrees
whisk egg whites until holding soft peaks, add the sugar bit by bit until all combined and the meringue looks glossy, add the splash of vinegar(this is to ensure a chewy inside and crispy outside)whisk further, add the cocoa powder and mix until well combined.place on greaseproof paper in approx circle shape but don't pat it down too flat.place in oven and IMMEDIATELY on closing the door, turn it down to 150 degrees and cook for 1 hour. check it after 1 hour to ensure even cooking then turn off oven ,leave door ajar and leave it to cool in the oven. once cooled completely, dollop on the whipped cream, throw over the raspberries and sprinkle over the grated chocolate. sounds like a pain in the a*s to make but its soooooooooo easy honestly- peoples eyes will pop out when u present them with this!!!!!!!
