I have the blue book of gun values... colt fanatics dont necessarilly follow that. its a rough estimate but .. supply and demand...
i have a colt .38 super auto, combat commander, series mark IV, - steel frameand slidewith the brown wood grip, that sells for much more than its blue book value. also i have a colt detective special 2in barrel. blue finish with natural wood grip, in the original box. both are in the 98% to 100% category. i wanna find buyers

The Blue Book Of Gun Values has a great deal of information on Colt`s Manufacturing Company Inc.
You can pick up a copy at some gun shows or I got mine from Barnes and Noble. They usually have them in stock if not they will be happy to order one for you. Just be sure to ask for Blue Book Of Gun Values by S.P. Fjestad.
Happy hunting/shooting!!

Go to GunList and be sure and tell them everything about the gun and include a picture. And tell them you are a gun collector.

RIIIIIIIIGHT.... you collect Colt handguns, but you have NO info on them, so you come to yahoo answers to ask a bunch of know nothings where to find info on highly collectable handguns....... I'm calling you on this one, you're full of crap, liars lie for no reason, trying to impress a bunch of people you'll NEVER meet? If you in fact collected guns, you'd know the pricing info and collectable status of your guns PRIOR to buying them! Maybe you should have said,I'm a wannabe without a clue who wants to sound like something I'm not.

A collector wouldn't need to have this question answered, they'd already know!
